Regalia is a small caviary located in Mafra - Portugal ( www.cm-mafra.pt) devoted to breeding and showing quality cavies in both long and short coats. Originally starting with Silkies and Coronets it was not long before some Texels moved in and joined the herd. Although the main focus is on raising longhairs I do keep a small stud of US Teddies running on the side. My intention is to establish a sound breeding program that produces not only beautiful  animals but happy and  healthy ones as well. Cavies at Regalia are first and foremost spoiled pets. Regalia is member of CAPI (Clube dos Amigos dos Porquinhos-da-India) and the  A.P.R.O.M.E (Associação Portuguesa de Roedores e Outros Mamíferos Exóticos) ,since 2006 and participates in events/shows promoted by both associations.
 
From successfully breeding and showing dogs for many years (www.castelodealfaia.com) I've learned that nothing in life comes without hard work ,perseverance and dedication. Bearing this in mind, and with some luck to balance the odds, I will do my best to help Regalia get to the next level.
